The Arcos Eclipse paring knife is manufactured with a Nitrum stainless steel blade. This high-grade steel, developed exclusively by Arcos, has a hardness of 57HRC. Exclusive to the Eclipse series, each blade is hand-finished by expert knifemakers. As a result, it features a special Silk Edge Plus finish.
The matt blade and goldsmith's finish give a very attractive mirror finish. If you look closely, the contrast between the blade and the bolster creates a light effect symbolizing an eclipse, hence the name of the collection. Cutting becomes a pure pleasure: the cutting edge is particularly fluid and pleasant, enabling you to cut more precisely and efficiently. What's more, each knife is forged from a single block of steel, further enhancing its sturdiness and guaranteeing perfect balance while cutting.
The handle, meanwhile, is made of pearlescent black acrylic with a unique, inimitable pattern that is sure to give the knife a singular character. Not only does it add a touch of luxury, it also provides a comfortable, ergonomic grip. It is securely fastened by 3 stainless steel rivets.
