The Benchmade Griptilian is a practical Everyday Carry knife created by designer Mel Pardue. Since its first version many years ago, the Benchmade Griptilian is definitely a classic in the world of knives. Discover this iconic Benchmade knife on Knifeleader.eu!
Your Benchmade Griptilian pocket knife is designed for both outdoor and EDC use. Its handle is ergonomically designed. The material chosen for this purpose is fiberglass-reinforced nylon. The handle is perfectly ambidextrous and rests comfortably in the hand, allowing you to use the knife efficiently.
For 2019, Benchmade has upgraded the blade design material from 154CM stainless steel to CPM-S30V steel, making the Griptilian even better. CPM-S30V is one of the few types of steel developed specifically for knives. It is highly resistant to corrosion and retains its sharpness over a long period.
In contrast, the handle is made of glass-reinforced nylon (FRN) in black. This material is sturdy, doesn't weigh too much and rests comfortably in the palm.
The Griptilian 551-S30V opens smoothly and easily via thethumb stud. This extension is located on the exposed part of the blade. The blade remains in the open position as long as the Axis Lock mechanism is activated. It guarantees your safety during use.
And for added convenience, the knife comes with a clip so you can hang it on your pocket.
The Griptilian has been and will remain a legend in the world of pocket knives.
