The premium materials of the Barrage 580 knife

The sharp blade of the Barrage 580 pocket knife is made of 154CM stainless steel, a premium material originally designed for industrial equipment. 154CM offers an optimal balance between corrosion resistance, strength and the ability to maintain a sharp edge. This metal alloy has a Rockwell hardness of 58-61HRC. The handle is made of valox, a glass-reinforced composite material that is extremely lightweight and durable. Similar to FRN, valox is resistant to moisture, heat and many chemicals.

Modern mechanisms for greater efficiency

The Benchmade 580 folding knife opens smoothly and safely, thanks to thumb lugs on both sides of the blade. What's more, in addition to its Axis-Lock, this Benchmade pocket knife also features a secondary locking mechanism that guarantees the safety of the blade, whether open or closed.
