The razor paste is rich in chromium and has a fine grain that allows you to sharpen and polish your blade very gently. This makes it versatile and the perfect step for finishing your blade, as it provides both a very fine sharpening and a polishing effect after you’ve run the knife over a whetstone.

Simply apply a tiny bit of paste to the roughest part of your strop and run the blade across the strop to sharpen it gently. Don’t apply too much paste; it’s okay if the surface isn’t very green. It’s also important never to mix different colors of paste on the same side of the leather.
