The leather strop, a real asset for polishing the edge of your kitchen knives

This natural leather strop is recommended for completing the polishing of your blades, which you will have previously sharpened with a whetstone (if the edge requires it). It's the ultimate step for a flawless finish on your knives!

The central part of the strop, which allows you to grip it, is made from magnolia wood.

Then there's a non-slip rubber base for easy use. It will stand up well on your worktop (black part).

Finally, the useful surface of the naniwa polishing strop is made of genuine calf leather. Its soft, smooth surface enables you to polish your blades to perfection, to enhance their razor-sharp edge and accentuate their mirror finish.

To use it, it works a bit like a whetstone! You need to find the right edge angle, then :

- with the edge of the knife facing you, place it at the end of the strop and bring the knife back towards you. Repeat the operation.

- edge towards you: place the knife on the part of the strop closest to you, then move it away to the end of the strop, and repeat several times!

The use of polishing paste is not mandatory with the naniwa strop.
