The ultra-fine HORL® 3 Kagami polishing disc is the result of Japanese know-how and designed especially for the German brand HORL®. In collaboration with sharpening experts, HORL® has developed this disc to give your blades a perfect finish and a clean, mirror-sharp edge. Thanks to this Japanese-made polishing disc, your cuts gain in precision and fluidity.

Made from high-quality corundum, this disc offers exceptional abrasiveness. White alumina, renowned for its abrasive qualities, optimizes the disc's efficiency, enabling you to achieve results three times faster and with greater precision than traditional Japanese ceramic whetstones.

This disc is compatible with all HORL® 3 sharpeners, except the Cruise model. To install it on the sharpener, simply rotate it once until it clicks into place. This Quick Lock system ensures that the disc does not loosen during sharpening.

How to use the Kagami HORL® 3 ultra-fine polishing disc

This polishing disc is designed for use in the final stage of sharpening, after using the discs in the HORL® 3 premium sharpening set. To get the most out of it, apply the Kagami disc for at least 5 minutes on each side of the blade. Then, lightly moisten the disc and run it for a further 1 minute on each side to obtain a perfect edge.

Remember to clean your disc and blade regularly to maintain the best possible sharpness and mirror finish. Steel residues can impair sharpening quality.

The disc comes with a small metal storage box, so you can keep it handy in your kitchen drawer.
