Make outdoor tasks easier with this Opinel n°12 folding saw!
Suitable for gardeners, campers and outdoor adventurers, this saw knife combines the utility of a traditional knife with the efficiency of a saw. Its size, slightly larger than that of the classic Opinel, makes it ideal for larger jobs without sacrificing ease of transport.
This saw knife is particularly appreciated for its ability to cut small branches quickly, thanks to its serrations. According to the manufacturer, it can tackle branches up to 8cm thick, but many users have reported even more impressive performance. For example, when hiking in the forest, you can easily cut branches to prepare a shelter or campfire. It's also an invaluable tool for gardeners who want to prune trees or shrubs with precision and ease.
This Opinel n°12 folding saw is equipped with carbon blades featuring an anti-corrosion coating. This feature guarantees increased durability and sturdiness. The 12cm blades, with their two rows of sharpened teeth facing the handle, enable efficient cutting by pulling, thus reducing the effort required. To protect the blades, we recommend lubricating them with mineral oil after use.
Beech is the wood used to manufacture the handle of this saw knife. Made from beech from French farms, this wood is hard and resistant. It is easy to work and has a light color ranging from yellow to pinkish, with characteristic dark streaks. The varnish applied to the handle protects it from moisture and dirt, prolonging the knife's life. What's more, the handle remains comfortable even after long periods of use.
A crucial aspect of theOpinel n°12 is its safety. The brand's exclusive Virobloc locking system ensures that the blade remains in place, whether the knife is open or closed. This feature minimizes the risk of accidents, making the Opinel n°12 a safe choice for your outdoor activities.
