Sabatier has been making knives since the 19th century, using the traditional French Thiernoise method, the bedrock of French cutlery. The Provençao range combines high quality cutting edges with a unique, rustic design. This chef's knife is perfect for all your everyday cutting needs.
This chef's knife features a 25cm blade in stainless steel, an extremely robust, nitrogen-rich alloy, for enhanced resistance to ageing and impact. The blade is also harder, making its cutting edge all the more effective. Cut from a single piece, your knife is consequently fuller and heavier, enabling you to slice more easily.
This knife features a traditional handle made from olive wood. Each handle is unique, as each tree has its own unique grain. Its distinctive scent transports you straight to the South of France, to Provence, the region from which the range takes its name.
The handle gives you an ideal grip and great resistance over time. The 3 stainless steel rivets running the length of the handle add even more balance to this exceptional knife.

"To preserve the beauty of your knife, wash it by hand and dry it immediately afterwards: wood doesn't like water very much".
