As its name suggests, Spydero Assist is designed specifically for medical assistants or professional rescuers. This knife is so easy to use that it's highly recommended for first-aiders' equipment. What 's more, it features an emergency whistle in the event of an alarm, anda folding glass breaker useful in all situations. This set is fitted inside the sleeve.
This Assist version features a VG10 stainless steel serrated blade with a carbon nitride coating for a more elegant, sober look. With this serrated blade, you can easily cut fibrous materials such as rope. In fact, the corrugated design on the upper side of the blade enables controlled cutting.
The black, fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle gives this knife a graceful, refined look. And that's not all: the FRN also offers a perfect grip and assured ergonomics.
Its blade locks into place during use, thanks to the heavy-duty Back-Lock rear-pump locking mechanism. To open the blade, a metal "Cobra Hood" guides the thumb over the hole for easy opening.
A pocket clip is screwed to the back of the blade to secure the knife to your belt. The pocket clip is adjustable to two positions (left and right).
