With the TeakHaus Tradition teak cutting board featuring a drainage groove, prepare meats, vegetables, and other foods on a sturdy surface that protects your knives. Its FSC®-certified solid teak makes a beautiful addition to your countertop, while the built-in drainage groove catches juices. It’s also practical—you can flip it over as needed: one side for juicy cuts, the other for everyday prep!
A cutting board designed for cooking
This teak cutting board measures 41 x 31 x 3.8 cm and weighs 2.90 kg. Its size provides a generous surface for cutting and preparing your ingredients. The built-in handle makes it easy to handle, while its reversible design allows you to use both sides.
The perimeter groove catches juices: handy when slicing meat or preparing ripe fruit. The wooden surface is gentle on knife blades, and teak, which is naturally rich in oil, makes maintenance easy. The cutting board is also said to be naturally antibacterial.
Its benefits in the kitchen:
-
- Built-in groove to catch juices during preparation
- Two usable sides for a variety of uses
- Built-in handle for easier handling
- FSC®-certified solid teak from sustainably managed forests
- Natural grain: each board has its own unique look
Cleaning and Care
Before first use, wash the board with hot soapy water, rinse it thoroughly, and dry it. After each use, wash it by hand and wipe it dry immediately. Do not soak it or put it in the dishwasher. If the wood becomes dull, apply a thin layer of linseed oil or grapeseed oil, let it soak in for up to six hours, then wipe off the excess. Avoid cooking oils that may go rancid and furniture oils.
TeakHaus, Woodworking
TeakHaus designs teak cutting boards, including reversible models intended for cutting and preparing food. The brand emphasizes the use of FSC®-certified teak and the wood’s natural grain. As a result, each board has its own unique shades and pattern.
