Description
This Alla France thermometer is ideal for checking the temperature of your milk or of your leavening chamber.
The thermometer's body is made of glass, and it is surrounded by a protective sheath of white food-grade polypropylene. In addition to protecting it from shocks, this sheath provides tenfold protection against bacteria, since polypropylene is antibacterial and easy to clean. You can therefore immerse it in your preparations without fear of contaminating them. The polypropylene sheath can be sterilized in the dishwasher for even greater hygiene.
The thermometer features a red capillary for easy temperature reading. The thermometer displays temperatures from -10°C to +60°C, and each graduation is worth 1°C.
What's more, this thermometer features an innovative patented system that lets you hang the utensil at any height you like. It is also equipped with a suspension eyelet for hanging on a wall storage system, so it won't clutter your drawers and you'll always have it to hand.

I am totally satisfied with my purchase. This thermometer is perfect for my bread-making machine. It's protected by a case that attaches it to the cup containing the water, so it's well protected and doesn't break like the thermometer I used to use. The case can be removed to clean it and the thermometer, so it's impeccable for hygiene, and you can dip it in flour on its own.
I'd recommend this good-value item.

Large thermometer but the glass bulb is too fragile. Three broke on dispatch and the last one lasted two days.
It also displayed exactly one degree less than all my other thermometers.

We're really sorry that the thermometers were received broken :(
Indeed we should have separated the shipment into 2 parts so that the wooden log didn't crush them. I see that the refund has been made by my colleague.
