Description
This Alla France oven thermometer/minimeter is a small, functional utensil, ideal for measuring the temperature of your food during cooking.
It features an 18cm stainless steel probe (4mm diameter) and a 10cm flexible cable. The probe is perfect for measuring the temperature of meats, as its thinness means you can insert it inside the meat without damaging the pieces. This allows you to take the core temperature, for ideal cooking!
The case's magnetic back allows you to attach it to metal surfaces.
It can measure temperature variations from -50 to +300°C, and this is displayed on the digital screen for easy reading. You can also display the temperature in °C or °F (this function is set on the front of the thermometer).
The thermometer features several practical functions:
-TIMER: up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds. The alarm sounds when the time has run out.
-STOPWATCH: also up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds
-ALARM: in addition to complementing the TIMER function, it can also sound when you reach the maximum temperature set in advance. It therefore works in conjunction with the THERMOMETER function.
Instructions for setting all these parameters are included in the package. A AAA battery is included for immediate operation.

If you don't invert the functions it gives the time or the temperature...but not both at the same time...works very well, it's my second copy...

After a product that wasn't working—but started working once I took a look at it—now it's the alarm's turn; it wasn't working. It's right where I put it.

1) The middle button stays pressed down
2) The ringtones are way too quiet; if you're not right next to it, you can't hear them

Fairly accurate thermometer.
You can set an alarm when the temperature is reached, so you don't have to keep checking.
Timer works well.
