1Stone's exclusive La Lune® stoneLa Lune® is a historic natural Sharpening stone. The company that operated it remained in business until the 1980s. It was forced to close in 1984, as it was unable to cope with the arrival of synthetic whetstones and slates on the market. In 2015, Nicolas Rollin had the idea of relaunching the business. After putting together a team and working with geologists, the location of this Sharpening stone was found: La Lune® could be reborn. Nicolas Rollin insists on keeping the stone's whereabouts a secret, and is today its sole manufacturer. He registered his trademark in 2021. The La Lune® French Sharpening stone is a grit stone ranging from 6000 to 8000 grit, perfect for finishing the sharpening and polishing of your knife blades. After passing over a 1000Sharpening stone and creating an abrasive slurry, the La Lune® stone works wonders!
