Arcos Spanish knives are designed to suit both professionals and home cooks. They are powerful, functional and intuitive to use.
The Arcos Natura series features knives that are both high-performance and stylish, just like the rest of the brand's knives. They are crafted from quality materials, using century-old know-how. This series of knives features all the main functions you'll need to vary your cuts.
This 18cmsantoku knife allows you to perform a wide range of actions, as it is a highly versatile, Japanese-shaped model. It can chop, mince or minced various types of food. However, it is particularly well-suited to chopping, thanks to its curved blade that acts as a natural pendulum when cutting. The gesture becomes instinctive. The visible dimples on its cutting surface make it less sticky.
Its with granton edgeblade is made of NITRUM®stainless steel, an alloy concentrated in nitrogen to increase the blade's hardness (this is a special composition by the manufacturer). It has a strength rating of 57 HRC, and offers a marked edge over the long term, while remaining easy to sharpen when required. It's a very good steel for everyday use, for example. The knife is forged, i.e. made from a single bar of solid steel. It is then heated and pressed into its final shape. Since it comes from a single block, it's much stronger, with no sticking points that could weaken it over time.
The handle is made from rosewood, a dense, moisture-resistant exotic species. Its warm nuances lend it great elegance. The handle is completed by 3 stainless steel rivets.
Last but not least, we can't overlook its timeless design! The mix of materials provides a nice contrast, giving it a touch of authenticity with the warm wood of rosewood.
Wash by hand, then dry immediately to avoid prolonged contact with moisture. That way, you'll take good care of it for the long term.
