The contrast is striking. Established in the Loire since 1885, the Chabret workshops have accumulated over a century's worth of expertise in top-of-the-range planks and logs. QOOQ, for its part, has been producing exceptional designs for 8 years, combining modernity and simplicity. The result of the meeting of these two worlds is the Chabret QOOQ J log. The combination of experience and innovation ina durable, practical and elegant utensil .

Manufactured using the tried-and-tested technique of "end grain" wood, this worktop will stand the test of time. Already renowned for its excellent shock resistance, hornbeam wood is now even more robust. Chabret worktops are made up of an assembly of blocks cut perpendicular to the wood fibers, with the fibers running across their width. As a result, knocks and scratches sustained during cutting are applied in the direction of the fiber, which absorbs them much more effectively than when they are applied perpendicularly. As a result, there's no risk of your board splitting or crumbling. This technique, combined with the careful selection of the finest hornbeam from the Jura forests, guarantees a board of exceptional durability.
