Description

Opt for an original design without skimping on efficiency with this Mono 17cm chef knife!

Mono is a German company specializing in cutlery and kitchen accessories. The brand always combines quality materials, innovative production techniques and the search for unexpected design to offer products that are as high-performance as they are aesthetically original.

We offer you this knife from the SK59 series.

This chef's knife has a striking appearance, yet is very easy and familiar to use.

Its blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 steel, an alloy particularly renowned for its quality and strength. This internationally renowned Swedish steel is found in many cutting tools. It contains a high percentage of chromium (13.5%), making it highly resistant to corrosion. It is also enriched with carbon (0.6%), to increase hardness and promote good edge retention. Finally, it also contains manganese for greater resistance to wear and abrasion, and silicon to reinforce the stainless action of chromium. This alloy is easy to maintain and complies with hygiene standards.

Thanks to advanced heat treatment, the knife's hardness is 59HRC on the Rockwell scale, providing an extremely efficient cutting edge that rarely needs resharpening. Despite its high hardness, the blade remains flexible for greater strength during use.

The blade surface is smoothedand refined with emery paste on rotating leather discs, a complex technique typical of Solingen, Germany's cutlery capital. The result is improved cutting quality, corrosion resistance and wire retention.

The handle of this SK59 chef's knife is made of polyamide, a synthetic material reinforced with fiberglass for added strength. Handle and blade are solidly assembled. This exceptional-looking handle is more comfortable to use than it looks. Ergonomically designed to fit the shape of the hand, it ensures a secure, pain-free grip even when used intensively.

Its elegant, atypical design makes it a real eye-catcher in your kitchen.

It's a functional, designer gift for your loved ones!
