Opinel Baroudeur Colorama folding knife n°07 8cm blade cyan blue horn handle

Ideal for camping, picnics and hiking, the Opinel Baroudeur Colorama n°07 folding knife is a reliable companion for outdoor activities. Its versatile blade is suitable for cutting, peeling or even buttering a sandwich, making it an indispensable tool for explorers and outdoor cooking enthusiasts.

Opinel Baroudeur n°07 features and design

This French Opinel Baroudeur n°7 knife, born in Savoie over 120 years ago, symbolizes Opinel's commitment to quality and innovation. Its 8cm martensitic stainless steel blade is optimized for high corrosion resistance and superior mechanical performance. This alloy ensures excellent sharpness and abrasion resistance, enabling the knife to remain sharp even after regular contact with hard materials. In addition, the Yatagan shape of the blade, inspired by a Turkish saber, guarantees sturdiness and precise, efficient cutting.

The handle is made of cyan-blue hornbeam wood. This is a light-colored wood with a discreet grain, ideal for staining. Sourced from French forests, it is easy to handle. A water-based staining process is used, followed by an application of woodstain, then a protective coat of varnish to ensure durability and color preservation. And that's not all: this handle is fitted with a small leather lace so you can attach it to your backpack, making it easy to carry when you're on the move.

Safety and functionality

The Virobloc® safety system on the Colorama n°7 Baroudeur folding knife locks the blade in the open or closed position, offering optimum safety during use. This patented device is a guarantee of confidence and reliability for the user.

In short, the Opinel Baroudeur n°07 folding knife is a versatile, elegant tool suitable for a variety of everyday tasks and outdoor activities!
