Description

The Bron Coucke professionalKitchen mandolin is perfect for all kinds of cutting.

The Kitchen mandolin is made of stainless steel. This corrosion- and shock-resistant material guarantees long-lasting use. The fact that it is heavy also makes it easy to stabilize during use: it stays firmly in place. What's more, 4 non-slip pads are attached to the base of the Kitchen mandolin, for added stability.

The Kitchen mandolin is equipped with both a smooth and a wavy blade. You can adjust the cutting thickness of these two blades by means of two small levers visible on the underside of the unit.

It also features a double-blade tapering block. The first blade can be used to make large vegetable sticks (for French fries, for example), while the second blade can be used to make fine julienne strips. To use either blade, turn the crank on the side of the machine, having first adjusted the position of the smooth blade with the small thickness adjustment lever.

It also features a removable non-slip foot, which you can pull out to use the Kitchen mandolin in a standing position. It's practical and allows you to make quick, precise gestures. The foot must be moved to suit the blade you're using (smooth or corrugated). Adjust it yourself to the right position. This stand also features a smaller integrated foot that lets you attach the Kitchen mandolin to the edge of a table.

The cutting carriage fits onto the Kitchen mandolin frame like a rail. Its articulated structure allows you to insert the vegetable of your choice and easily move it back and forth to cut it evenly.

We recommend that you read the user manual supplied with the Kitchen mandolin before using it for the first time. You'll find tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your new Kitchen mandolin (please note that this manual is adapted to several Kitchen mandolin, so you'll have to find the instructions that suit your own accessories).

Poorly made and non-functional product—at this price, you'd expect better... I sent it back and am waiting for a refund.

Meets my expectations. Very robust and professional equipment. Takes some getting used to, but it's very quick. Easy to maintain. Very satisfied. a REAL gratin dauphinois quickly prepared...

Professional quality. Beautiful stainless steel. Really sharp blades. Once you get the hang of it (it only takes a few minutes), it's very practical. Only "drawback": stainless steel => wipe well (and all the nooks and crannies) to avoid marks.
Excellent mandolin

It's solid, it's French, what more could you ask for?

What can I say? 5 kilos of thin, crispy fries in no time! The guide is really great, because if it hadn't been there, I'd probably have cut my fingers in it by now. It's very quick to move and send out very quickly. The metal part is very practical, allowing you to rest it on the edge of the table. This is my first mandolin, and it's going to last me a lifetime! I'm not sorry I paid the price and bought this model when there were no reviews. I trusted the salesman on the phone
