Choose the Japanese style combined with the wood craftsmanship of the Wüsthof Crafter Santoku!
The blade is easy to sharpen
The 17cm blade of this knife is made of X50CrMoV15 stainless steel, an alloy of chromium and nickel that is resistant to shock and corrosion. The blade is forged from a single piece of steel heated to high temperature, then shaped with a press. This technique requires the blacksmith's skill to give your knife perfect balance, which is enhanced by the bolster.
The final sharpening of the blade has been checked with a very precise laser to give you a high-performance blade right from the outset!
On the Rockwell scale, the hardness is 58HRC, so you can easily sharpen your knife with a stone or a Sharpening steel!
The with granton edge blade prevents food from sticking to the sides when cutting, which is really practical! With the santoku 1010831317, you can slice, chop and carve with ease.
Luxurious wooden handle
The handle is made from high-quality smoked oak, a durable, moisture-resistant wood that will give you many years of use! Ergonomically shaped, the handle ensures optimum maneuverability and a comfortable grip, especially during prolonged use. It features 3 traditional brass rivets that hold the blade in place in the handle to reinforce the reliability of your knife. It also features a guard developed to protect your fingers from cuts: use your knife in complete safety!
For optimum care, wash by hand with a soft sponge, dry immediately and store in a dry place. You can oil the handle with a suitable oil to restore its shine.
