Natural bristles to preserve truffles

This truffle brush features 100% natural Tampico fiber bristles. These are vegetable fibers extracted from agave lechuguilla, an oily plant growing in Mexico.

Tampico bristles are renowned for their extreme softness, perfect for brushing truffles without damaging them. What's more, they have an exceptional capacity toabsorb and retain water, which is ideal for ridding truffles of impurities and soil residues.

The brush handle is made from FSC-certified beechwood, which guarantees that the wood comes from sustainably managed forests. Beech wood ensures a sturdy, moisture-resistant brush.

The brush is 9cm long and 5cm wide, which, combined with its oval shape, ensures a very good grip. This brush is made in Italy by Ambrogio Sanelli.

How do I use my truffle brush?

It's important to clean your truffle brush before use. To do this, rub the Tampico fibers under clear water, then rinse well.

The water may foam slightly during this first wash. This is perfectly normal and will not affect future use of the brush.

You can then use the brush as normal. After soaking the truffle to remove as much soil as possible, use the brush when cooking to remove any stubborn residue.
