The backpack includes 13 utensils:

- 1 Dumas 32 straight spatula (21cm soft palette)

- 1 Parisian apple spoon (diameter 2.2cm)

- 1 rigid pastry cutter (11 x 8.5 cm)

- 1 pair of Sabatier scissors with integrated nutcracker

Backpack anatomy :

Given its capacity, you can easily fit all the equipment you need (and avoid having to carry several bags, which isn't very practical). In fact, the bag has around 32 places, arranged on 3 removable trays, which is perfect for your utensils of choice.

Front panel :

The front part of the bag features a small zippered top pocket, allowing you to store your papers, a small coin purse, etc., for example.

Another front pocket can be accessed by unclipping a clip. It opens via two side zippers and itself contains several storage spaces: a long zipped pocket, a space that can be closed with a Velcro fastener (for a smartphone or glasses case, for example) and a space for 3 pens.

Behind this storage space, two new accordion compartments are revealed, where you can put, for example: recipe books, technical data sheets, a small laptop, a tablet, a kitchen apron...

A further pocket is available behind these slots. You access it by opening a zipper. You can put in other recipe books, a spare tee shirt, files... Its large capacity means you'll be right at home!

We then come to the main storage area of the backpack, which divides in two.

Inside left :

You have a removable storage plate that can be clipped to the bag and contains 8 storage spaces (some are smaller than others, which is handy for small accessories like the bridle needle). A small flap with clip fasteners covers the blades of your knives, or the upper part of the utensils you're going to put inside.

The maximum blade length you can insert (assuming the handle stops at the elastic band) is 27cm.

So this is where you can put your various kitchen knives, as they'll be well protected thanks to the flap!

Right inner part :

Here you'll find two removable plates, one of which can be attached directly to the backpack.

The two plates are identical, and feature elastic bands on the front of their surface. 12 elastics are arranged across its width (i.e. 2x6, as one row of 6 faces another row of 6), allowing you to arrange either 6 large pieces (to be held at both ends), or 12 small pieces (to be passed through one elastic each).

The width of the rubber bands is approx. 4.5 cm, and the surface area of a plate is approx. 27 x 41.5 cm.

This is where you keep your utensils!

As all the plates in the bag are removable, they are easy to clean. Simply unclip them, empty them of their utensils, and wipe them down with a sponge to remove any marks.

Last but not least, its ergonomic shape (like a schoolboy's backpack) means that the weight of the equipment is correctly distributed over both shoulders. This way, you don't have all the weight on one side (as would be the case with a briefcase, for example, which also takes up your hand).

It has two reinforced, adjustable shoulder straps that are comfortable to wear. Finally, a small handle on the front lets you take it by hand if you want.
