Mcusta knives are made in Seki, the cradle of Japanese cutlery. Mcusta uses traditional manufacturing techniques as well as more modern technology for optimal finishing results.
This Mcusta Kamon MC83 Grue knife is a performance-approved knife!
The 5.5cm blade is made of AUS8 steel, which contains 0.8% carbon and has an estimated hardness of 59HRC. Carbon is the element that reinforces the steel's hardness. This hardness enhances the blade's sharpness and sharpening shelf life. Resharpening is therefore not often necessary with this type of steel.
The blade is laser-cut before being hand-sharpened by a master cutler to a razor-sharp edge. This little knife doesn't take up much space, and it's sure to come in handy every day. Open your letters, cut small tomatoes, do DIY, carve a piece of wood, and much more!
The handle measures 7.5cm and can be used as a bill-holder thanks to its clip shape. Made of stainless steel, a "Crane" motif is perforated on the clip side. Practical, you can clip the knife to your pocket* to avoid losing it.
The blade unfolds easily by pulling with your thumb and forefinger. The frame-lock system effectively locks the blade in the open position, so there's no risk of it accidentally closing.
The Mcusta MC.83 Japanese folding knife is a cute little knife ideal for small everyday tasks!
