Blade and handle design

At the heart of theOpinel Baroudeur n°06 is a 7cm blade. Made of stainless steel, it combines strength and elegance. Its composition, enriched with 14.5% chromium, gives it exceptional resistance to corrosion, an indispensable asset for frequent outdoor users. What's more, the hardness of this steel, rated at 55-57 HRC, makes it easy to maintain. You can count on a blade that retains its sharpness day after day, without the need for constant sharpening.

The most distinctive aspect of this blade is its Yatagan shape, inspired by Turkish knives. This unique design, with its raised tip and exclusive domed profile, offers superior cutting performance and remarkable strength.

The 9cm-long handle is made of hornbeam wood. Produced in France, it is both robust and elegant. This wood is lightly grained, making it ideal for stain application. A glaze applied with a water-based stain and a protective varnish give it strength and longevity. A leather cord adds a practical touch, allowing you to hang your knife wherever you please.

Safe to use

Featuring the Virobloc® system, the ferrule secures the use of your Opinel by locking the blade in the open or closed position. This feature prevents any risk of accidental opening or closing of the folding knife.

Perfect for hikers, campers and outdoor enthusiasts, theOpinel N°06 baroudeur nuage is an ideal choice for those looking for a folding knife that is both high-performance, secure and attractively designed.
