Opinel Baroudeur Colorama folding knife n°06 7cm blade grey violet hornbeam handle

Designed for do-it-yourselfers and outdoor enthusiasts, this Colorama n°6 Baroudeur folding knife stands out for its versatility and reliability. Whether you' re picking fruit in the forest, tinkering around the house, hiking steep trails or simply going about your daily chores, it's the ideal companion to have on hand.

Quality of blade and handle

The Opinel Colorama n°6 Baroudeur pocket knife has a 7cm blade. It is made of martensitic stainless steel, offering high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical performance. Of European origin, this steel has a hardness of 55-57 HRC, guaranteeing exceptional sharpness and resistance to abrasion. As a result, the blade is able to withstand regular contact with hard materials such as ceramics. Inspired by a Turkish saber, the Yatagan blade is ground with a domed profile. This design guarantees excellent sturdiness and easy sharpening.

Measuring 9cm, the handle of the n°06 Baroudeur folding knife is made of hornbeam wood from French forests. Featuring very little grain, this white wood is ideal for colored finishes, and enhances the purple-gray hue without altering the appearance of the wood. The handle is varnish-coated for added protection against moisture and dirt. Finally, a leather strap at the end adds a practical touch, allowing you to hang your knife wherever you please.

Reliable safety system

Like all Opinel knives larger than n°06, this knife features the Virobloc® system, a mechanism designed to maximize safety. It locks the blade whether extended or retracted, preventing it from folding or opening unexpectedly. This essential feature ensures peace of mind during use.
