Description

A handy santoku for fast, precise cutting

Discover the Ryda Knives A-30 santoku, a knife designed to offer precision and fluidity in all your preparations. Part of the A-30 series, it has been designed to meet the expectations of experienced users looking for an efficient, easy-to-handle tool.

This honeycombed santoku knife is ideal for slicing, dicing and chiseling with consistency. Its blade, shorter than a chef's knife, gives excellent control, particularly with vegetables, boneless meats or boneless fish. Its light weight facilitates fast, precise gestures, without unnecessary effort.

A San Maï honeycomb blade for greater efficiency

The 18cm blade features a San Maï structure, composed of 3 layers of steel. The hard steel core is protected by two outer layers of 316 and 316L stainless steel, ensuring a good balance between performance and strength.

The core is made of AUS-10 Japanese stainless steel, enriched with approximately 1.05% carbon, for a fine, efficient cutting edge. The blade is cryogenically treated, improving the steel's internal structure and raising its hardness to around 60 HRC. This ensures good cutting quality and easy maintenance.

Alveoli limit food sticking to the blade. They are particularly useful for moist or oily foods, and make cutting faster and cleaner.

Theflat cutting edge facilitates penetration into food, ensuring a clean cut. The satin finish provides a discreet finish while reducing visible marks after use.

The rounded heel improves grip: the index finger is naturally positioned close to the bolster, enabling better control. This facilitates both rapid and swinging movements, while reducing fatigue over time. Weighing just 175g, this santoku favors precision and fluidity of gesture.

A stabilized walnut handle for comfortable use

The handle is made from stabilized walnut wood, vacuum-treated to reinforce its structure. This process improves its resistance to humidity and guarantees durability over time.

Walnut provides an elegant appearance, with a unique grain on each knife. It also offers a pleasant feel, enhancing comfort during long cutting sessions.

Its slim, slightly domed shape ensures a firm, natural grip. It helps maintain good control of the knife while limiting slippage.

The handle is decorated witha bevelled green and gold ring, providing a neat finish. The stainless steel bolster enhances the overall balance, while the beveled mosaic base underlines the knife's high-end character.
