Discover the Ryda Knives A-30 nakiri knife, a model designed to work vegetables with precision and fluidity. This kitchen knife has been designed for experienced users who are looking for a high-performance knife that is easy to handle and pleasant to use on a daily basis.
This 18cm Ryda Knives nakiri is ideal for slicing, dicing and chopping vegetables. Its straight blade produces clean cuts without excessive tilting, which favors regularity and speed of execution. Its controlled weight means that you can carry out your work without tiring.
The 18cm blade is based on a San Maï structure composed of 3 layers of steel. The central core is protected by two outer layers of 316 and 316L stainless steel, ensuring a good compromise between hardness and strength.
The core is made of AUS-10 Japanese stainless steel, enriched with approximately 1.05% carbon, for a precise, even cutting edge. The blade is cryogenically treated to reinforce the steel's internal structure and improve its durability. As a result, the blade reaches a hardness of around 60 HRC, which maintains a good cutting edge while facilitating maintenance.
Theflat grinding ensures clean insertion into food, ideal for clean cuts. The satin polish gives a discreet finish and limits visible marks on the blade.
The rounded heel of the blade improves grip: the index finger is naturally positioned close to the bolster, offering better control. This makes it easy to alternate between fast cutting and more precise gestures, while reducing fatigue during prolonged use.
Weighing just 180g, this nakiri offers a good balance between lightness and stability for smooth cutting.
The handle is made from stabilized walnut wood, vacuum-treated to improve strength. This process reinforces its durability in the face of humidity and temperature variations.
Walnut wood adds an elegant touch, with a unique grain on each knife. It also offers a pleasant feel, enhancing comfort during repeated use.
Its slim, slightly domed shape ensures a firm, natural grip. It ensures good control of the knife, while limiting slippage.
The handle is decorated witha bevelled green and gold ring, providing a neat finish. The stainless steel bolster enhances overall balance, while the beveled mosaic base reinforces the knife's high-end character.
Clean your knife exclusively by hand with a soft sponge and a suitable detergent, then dry it immediately. Do not put it in the dishwasher or leave it to soak in the sink. Use a wooden or synthetic cutting board to preserve the cutting edge.
To maintain cutting performance, sharpen regularly with a stone suitable for AUS-10 steel.
Ryda Knives creates knives with a focus on the balance between design, performance and ease of use. The A-30 range follows this logic, offering precise models designed for regular use.
Aimed at experienced amateurs and professionals alike, this range focuses on maneuverability and cutting quality. It offers a fluid experience, adapted to the precise cuts of everyday use.
