Cut your vegetables with ease with the Ideal Forgéparing knife from Sabatier Elephant!
Sabatier Éléphant kitchen knives are made in France by Thiers Issard. This cutlery manufacturer has been in existence since 1884, producing top-quality knives.
The paring knife has a 10cm blade in 4116 stainless steel, an alloy of chromium, vanadium and molybdenum that resists corrosion and impact. It is also renowned for its resistance to wear and deformation, and achieves a hardness of 55HRC on the Rockwell scale for easy maintenance.
The knife comes with a 10cm olive wood handle. This wood is easily recognized by its attractive golden hue and distinctive grain, making each knife unique. It's a sturdy wood whose solidity is reinforced by 3 brass rivets that secure the handle to the blade.
This paring knife has a round aluminum bolster for balance and lightness. For safe use, the knife has a thin guard to prevent your fingers from slipping on the blade.
The knife should be washed by hand, taking care not to run the handle under water. Like all knives with wooden handles, olive wood does not like contact with water. Take care to dry the knife thoroughly after washing.
