There are many stages in the manufacturing process, carried out by our blacksmiths to ensure the best possible kitchen knives. Blades, for example, are forged by hand and then passed through two oil baths (quenching and tempering) to soften the metal and bond its molecules together. The result is a sturdy blade. The blades are polished and sharpened by hand on a grinding wheel using leather rollers, giving them their excellent cutting edge.
