This Fischer sharpening steel is ideal for sharpening your steel knives on a daily basis. Recommended for professionals, butchers and other food trades.

The 30cm oval wick is made of chrome-plated carbon steel. The hard chrome coating is between 8 and 10 microns thick. This coating protects against corrosion and increases surface hardness by 3 to 4 HRC on the edges.

Heat treatment ensures a bit hardness of 63 HRC. This feature enables you to sharpen all existing steel knives.

The bi-material handle is designed by Fischer. It is composed of 2 materials: grey elastomer and blue plastic. The elastomer keeps your hand on the handle during use, without the risk of slipping. The plastic is particularly resistant, and its color identifies each food sector to avoid contamination between different food products.

Fischer offers 3 sizes:

- Standard: this type of gun is recommended for less intense knife use. They are ideal for dull knives and worn wires. It is not suitable for daily use, as it can cause material loss on your knives.

- Fine: these guns perfectly restore the smooth cutting edge and mor-fil of professional blades. You can use it every day, several times a day.
