Description
A reliable sharpening stone holder
This whetstone holder is an indispensable accessory for restoring the sharpness of your blades. Its black PVC base is waterproof and perfectly stable. In fact, the base has non-slip notches, ensuring perfect sharpening even if your work surface gets wet.
What's more, the base is adjustable to suit a wide range of sharpening stones. It allows you to use stones measuring from 17.5 to 22.5cm in length, making it highly versatile.
The easy-to-use stone holder
Your holder features a screw system to adapt the length to the needs of your stones. Simply unscrew them, stretch or retract the central part of the holder to the length of the stone, then screw back in to secure.
The holder has 4 stainless steel rods that support the PVC base. Two of these are fitted with stainless steel springs for length adjustment. This makes the holder easy to use.
Note that you can occasionally apply a little oil to the stainless steel parts to ensure the stand's longevity.Keroil oil is an ideal choice.

In my opinion, it's an indispensable tool that makes sharpening operations safer and easier by holding the stone in place. Although the stones I use don't need to be soaked, I chose this holder for its stainless steel part, which is a plus for me if one day I need to run it under water for cleaning!
