Description
Shapton coarse grain straightening powder makes it easy to level your sharpening stones.
After all, if you use them too much, they tend to become uneven, as you move them back and forth on their surface. This prevents the stones from being used properly, and your knives are no longer as sharp.
This powder is the solution!
Using Shapton 0502 abrasive powder
This contains carbon and silicon granules that increase its abrasive power. It is used in conjunction with a dressing stone, and is suitable for sharpening stones from 120 to 1000 grit.
Simply apply it to the surface of the whetstone, then rub the dressing stone against it. This abrasive powder will speed up the sharpening process.
Once you've finished and your whetstone is flat and as good as new, clean it and your dressing stone thoroughly to remove all traces of residue.
