How to use Shapton 0504?
Shapton powder is composed of aluminum oxide granules with high abrasive power. The powder is suitable for sharpening stones with a grit greater than 5000 and is used in conjunction with a dressing stone.
To use, simply apply it to the surface of the whetstone, then rub with the dressing stone. The abrasive powder speeds up results.
Once your whetstone is flat again and looks as good as new, clean both stones thoroughly to remove all traces of residue.
