Manufacturer Sabatier draws on its many years of experience to produce knives worthy of its reputation! The company designs blades that are both functional and high-performance, using innovative processes blended with tradition.
The Provençao Sabatier knife series is ideal for all cooks, professional and amateur alike, and perfectly blends modernity and rusticity.
This elegant box contains :
- 1 10cm paring knife (the perfect knife for small fruits and vegetables: for decorating, peeling or slicing)
- 1 12cm serrated Universal knife (like the paring knife, it can be used on larger items, and is particularly recommended for tomatoes thanks to its serrated blade that slices easily through skin and flesh)
- 1 20cm chef's knife (the all-purpose knife that's indispensable in the kitchen)
The blades of these kitchen knives are made of stainless steel, to be both shockproof and corrosion-resistant. The steel chosen is also nitrogen-reinforced, for a longer-lasting edge and improved corrosion resistance.
The blade is forged from a solid piece of steel, using high heat and a press to give it its final shape. This process requires a great deal of know-how, and promises top-quality knives! You can feel it in the weight of the knife, which is heavier, fuller and therefore more comfortable to hold. Solidity is also increased tenfold, as there are no welding points.
The handle is original and authentic: it's made from olive wood, which is the wood most representative of Provence, with its characteristic fruity scent (hence the name of the series). It ensures optimum grip (for right- and left-handed users), and long-lasting durability. This strength is further enhanced by the 3 stainless steel through rivets that give the whole knife a pleasant balance. Each knife is unique, since the handle is cut from a different part of the wood for each model. The grain is specific!
