A bird's beak knife for professional cuts
The Zwilling Professional "S" 7cm bird's beak knife is the ideal partner for meticulous cutting, turning, peeling and carving of small fruits and vegetables. Its small, curved blade moulds perfectly to the shape of food, for smooth, precise, waste-free movements. Compact, handy and carefully forged, it's ideal for professionals and detail-oriented cooking enthusiasts alike.
A short, curved blade designed for precision
Measuring 7cm, the blade of this knife is forged from a single piece ofZwilling's special formula stainless steel, using the SIGMAFORGE® process. This ensures a dense structure, great strength and perfect balance. The blade then benefits from FRIODUR® treatment, a cryogenic hardening process that raises hardness to around 57 HRC, guaranteeing excellent corrosion resistance, good suppleness and long-lasting edge retention.
V-edge lasergrinding gives the blade an edge of around 15° on each side. Such finesse ensures clean cutting right from the start. The curvature of the blade hugs the contours of round products, facilitating continuous peeling.
A handle designed for controlled movements
The 10.9cm handle is made of high-density synthetic material, and is resistant to humidity, temperature variations and shocks. Featuring a Western shape with a curved heel, it ensures natural support in the palm, for stable handling even on very short strokes.
Three stainless steel rivets securely attach the handle plates to the knife's solid tang. A stainless steel bolster completes the picture, protecting the fingers and contributing to overall balance. Ambidextrous, the handle is suitable for all cooks.
