A knife with an efficient forged blade
The Professional "S" 20cm chef knife is ideal for demanding chefs and amateurs who want a precise, powerful and reliable knife. Made in Germany, it is forged from heel to toe using the exclusive SIGMAFORGE® process, guaranteeing exemplary stability and balance.
This knife is a true mainstay in the kitchen, ideal for executing a wide variety of culinary gestures. With its long, well-balanced blade, it enables you to chop herbs, mince vegetables, cut meat and fish, or mince with fluidity and precision.
A 20cm blade for all common cuts
The 20cm blade is forged from a single piece ofstainless steel specially formulated by Zwilling (using the SIGMAFORGE® process). It then undergoes the FRIODUR® heat treatment, which gives it a hardness of 57 HRC, guaranteeing corrosion resistance, flexibility and a long-lasting cutting edge.
Its laser-engineered V-edge grind refines the cutting angle to around 30° (15° on each side), for precise, long-lasting cuts. This cutting edge is ideal for everyday use, with easy-to-maintain sharpness.
A sturdy handle with western grip
The 13.4cm handle is made of high-density synthetic material, making it resistant to moisture and impact. Its Western shape with curved heel ensures comfortable support in the palm, enabling excellent control of the gesture, even during prolonged cutting sessions.
Three stainless steel rivets securely attach the inserts to the knife's solid tang. A stainless steel bolster protects the fingers while balancing the whole. The symmetrical handle is ambidextrous, suitable for all users.
