Yuzo Black SLD Japanese knives

Yuzo Black SLD Japanese knives are waiting for you! These handcrafted knives are made to last, and to ensure impeccable performance with every use. The yuzo handcrafted Japanese knife comes in two handles: the first is designed in precious ebony wood, accompanied by an olive wood bolster to give it a striking contrast. The second is also made of ebony, and while its bolster is also ebony, it features a central ring of quince wood, surrounded by two white micarta edgings for even greater originality. As for the blade, it remains the same on all models. It is forged according to the typically Japanese San Maï structure, with 3 alternating layers of steel. The heart of the blade is made of Japanese SLD steel, a high-performance alloy with a high carbon content. The purpose of this addition is to increase its rigidity, and thus guarantee a cutting edge that lasts, and excels. The top layer is made of stainless steel, for protection and flexibility. The blade of your Japanese knife has a traditional rough-forged finish, giving it a rustic feel. Cross-hammering completes the aesthetic appeal of the yuzo knife. The handcrafted yuzo knife is available in several models, allowing you to vary the cuts you make: universal knife, chef's knife, sujihiki knife... It's up to you to choose the one that suits you best!
