Bake your financiers, tarts or cookies with ease using the De BuyerElastomoule mould!
As with the other cake molds in the range, the Elastomoule large financier mold is made from top-of-the-range silicone foam enhanced with metal powder. With the R'SYSTEM, the metal powder helps ensure perfect circulation of hot air in the mold for even baking of your cakes. The juices caramelize during baking, giving your cakes a beautiful exterior color and an incomparable taste. Your sweet or savory creations are sure to impress your guests!
The mold withstands temperatures from -70°C to +300°C, so it can be placed in a conventional oven or in the freezer to set. It's ideal for preparing your cookies in advance and baking them during an impromptu visit, for example.
The inside of the mold is smooth and naturally non-stick. The sharp angles of the indentations make it easy to remove your financiers from the mold. We recommend that you grease the mold before its first use to enhance its non-stick properties. There's no need to repeat this operation for subsequent uses.
Be careful not to use sharp objects in your mold, which could damage it. And if you don't know the recipe for financiers, don't panic! A recipe sheet compiled by 7 MOF and/or world pastry champions is included!
