This Kai sharpener is perfect for sharpening the blades of your symmetrical knives! It's a quick and easy way to sharpen your kitchen knives from start to finish.
The first slot is equipped with a grit diamond stone, designed to reshape the edge of the blade. This abrasive stone is particularly effective on dull blades.
The second slot features grit ceramic wheels for optimal sharpening. Although this grit is coarser than the first, it is used in the second stage as it is less aggressive.
Finally, the third slot is equipped with grit ceramic pins, to ensure an optimum finish. It is ideal for polishing your cutting edge.
The Kaisharpener for symmetrical blades
After several passes through each sharpening module, your knives will regain their original edge! To use it, it's important to pass the blade entirely through the slot: from the heel to the tip. Indeed, if you stop in the middle, the blade risks having a twisted cutting edge that would be much more difficult to rework.
