Here's a superb set of Kai Wasabi Black knives to give as a gift for a special occasion or to treat yourself to good quality kitchen knives at home. These Kai Wasabi Black knives are great tools for all your kitchen chopping needs.
Kai WASABI BLACK knives are designed for professional chefs and lovers of high-quality Japanese knives.
The black handle of Kai Wasabi Black knives (mixed round and traditional shape) completely encloses the blade, making it non-removable. Unlike many Japanese knife handles, no dirt can get into the handle.
The blade, meanwhile, is made of 1K6 stainless steel, a tough alloy enriched with molybdenum and vanadium and 0.8% carbon, which achieves a hardness of 58 HRC on the Rockwell scale. This is a very good ratio between edge retention and ease of sharpening.
For use in the kitchens of top restaurants as well as at home.
In Japan, KAI knives and accessories are a household name. KAI was founded in Seki in 1908. Now, with over 100 years of tradition behind them, KAI kitchen knives have created a unique identity and are renowned the world over.
