Description

Naniwa offers Japanese sharpening stones that are seen as high-end sharpening accessories. The stones are available in a wide range of grits, from a very thick grit for damaged blades to a very fine grit for extreme polishing of your knives. Naniwa also offers a wide range of stones: simply choose the one that suits your needs!

The Naniwa Traditionnal Stone range includes classic, traditional sharpening stones. These stones are less hard than those in the Super Stone or Professional ranges, but they have the advantage of being very pleasant to use. They are easy to use, making them ideal for stone-sharpening novices.

Introducing the T-360 Japanese stone with 6000 grit

The stone's 6000 grit is very fine and perfectly suited to finishing sharpening. This grit polishes the edge of the blade to reveal its full cutting potential.

This Traditional Stone is a so-called water stone. To prepare it for sharpening, immerse it in water for 20 to 30 minutes.

Once you've finished sharpening, we recommend brushing the stone to remove any accumulated steel waste. Then let the stone dry completely in the open air, keeping it well away from any source of heat which might crack the stone. Once dry, you can store the stone in a dry place.

We recommend that you use the appropriate Naniwa support to elevate and stabilize the stone. Easy, safe use guaranteed!
