Description

The Naniwa sharpening stone helps you keep your knives sharp over time.

With its 1000 grit abrasive surface, it's ideal for regular use, and helps you maintain a good edge (to avoid letting the blade dull too much and having to re-sharpen it with a thicker grit that would remove more steel).

It is suitable for medium HRC knives (from 56 to 59), giving them a perfect finish and a maintained edge (depending on the hardness of your knife, you can even get a razor-sharp edge depending on their composition). If you had to choose just one sharpening stone, it would be the one with 1000 grit!

It has a non-removable base, so you can use it with complete peace of mind. It also comes with a sharpening guide, so you can find the right angle without any headaches. Made of stainless steel, we recommend that you slide it gently over your knife to avoid scratching the blade, or add a sheet of paper towel between the blade and the guide.

This stone can be used with water: for example, it should be left to soak for at least 10 minutes before use (you can also add a little when sharpening).

The Naniwa stone is suitable for stainless steel and carbon steel blades. It is also recommended for domestic use.

The Naniwa stone is effective on my kitchen knives. I like using it, the movement is clean, and the steel is maintained, without becoming dull. I approve

Better to add a few dozen euros and go to suheiro. I wanted to try out a cheaper alternative, but I failed!

I had bought this stone for its Japanese manufacture indicated on the site. Unfortunately, it turns out to be made in Vietnam.

Cheap and somewhat flimsy packaging. Otherwise, it's great for the price and does a very decent job sharpening 58 HRC blades.
