Arcos kitchen knives, made in Spain, are designed for professionals and enthusiasts alike. They are high-performance, functional and intuitive, making them a pleasure to use. They'll help you create your most complex recipes, as well as prepare your daily meals. The Arcos Natura series features knives that are both high-performance and stylish. They are crafted from quality materials, using century-old know-how. This series of knives features all the main functions you'll need for a wide variety of cuts.
This 16cmUniversal knife enables you to cut medium-sized fruit and vegetables, but also to mince meat (without bones), given its long length for such a model.
Its blade is made of NITRUM® stainless steel, an alloy concentrated in nitrogen to increase the blade's hardness (this is a special composition by the manufacturer). With a hardness of 57 HRC, it offers a marked edge over the long term, while remaining easy to sharpen when necessary. It's a very good steel for everyday use.
The knife is forged, i.e. made from a single solid bar of steel. It is then heated and pressed into its final shape. Since it comes from a single block, it is much stronger, with no sticking points that could weaken it over the long term.
The handle is made of rosewood, a dense, moisture-resistant exotic wood. Its warm nuances give it great cachet. The handle is completed by 3 stainless steel rivets.
Last but not least, we can't fail to notice its clean, timeless style! The mix of materials also provides contrast, giving it a touch of authenticity with the warm wood of rosewood.
You can wash it by hand, then dry it immediately to avoid prolonged contact with moisture. That way, you'll be able to look after it for years to come.
To complete your knife, you can also use a Sharpening steel!
