The Microplane Master series provides you with high-performance professional graters! The rasps in this range have been designed as a tribute to Microplane's very first DIY trade: woodworking.

The zester grater is a Microplane must-have! It's ideal for obtaining perfect zests from lemons and oranges, or for obtaining fine pieces of garlic or onion for vinaigrettes. It also tackles spices like nutmeg!

The blade is made of top-quality stainless steel, direct from the USA. Its fearsome sharpness is made possible by the photochemical process. This method involves cutting the blade with a special solution, ensuring impeccable results and contours.

Its sharpness is such that food is not damaged during cutting. Cutting is precise, revealing the full flavor of your food.

An anti-slip tip has been fitted to the top of the blade, to prevent it from slipping during use, or simply to protect your work surface from impact with the steel: all you have to do is wedge this stable base onto a flat surface for a firm, secure hold. A protective cover is also supplied, for secure storage in a kitchen drawer. The blade doesn't come into contact with anything.

The Master Series handle is made of Kentucky walnut from the USA. It has been oiled to protect it. Its warm hues give it a lot of cachet, and a rustic feel that contrasts with the brand's usual vitamin-rich colors. A steel hook has been attached to the tip so that the grater can be hung from a dedicated utensil bar. So it stays within easy reach!

For maintenance, you'll need to wash the utensil by hand without soaking it in the sink, to preserve its appearance and effectiveness (wood is not dishwasher-safe). We recommend wiping with a soft cloth after washing.
