Each knife in Miyabi 's5000MCD67 range demonstrates the height of Japanese cutlery expertise! Whether you opt for Gyuto, Santoku or others, you won't be disappointed by the level of efficiency, strength and durability!
These Japanese kitchen knives are one-of-a-kind pieces, for long-lasting cutting pleasure.
This Bread knife has a 24cm blade. Its pronounced teeth enable you to effortlessly slice all types of bread, buns... Crusts are sliced cleanly!
Here's the list of advantages that will make you opt for this exceptional range:
-The blade of this Bread knife has a powder core agglomerated with microcarbides of MC66 steel, which is renowned for its extreme strength. This core is surrounded by 132 layers of damascus, i.e. the superposition of layers of soft then hard steel, to provide a unique blend of strength and suppleness.
The knife adapts to your gestures and cuts. Thanks to this unique process inherited from master blacksmiths, the knife features a drape of waves running along its cutting surface. It becomes even more original! The blade has also been tempered using the special CRYODUR process. Tempered at -196°C in ice, this increases its strength and anti-corrosive properties tenfold. As a result, its final hardness is 66 HRC on the Rockwell scale, an exceptional rating in the cutlery world. The knife retains its sharp edge much longer than a standard blade, for less regular sharpening.
Its symmetrical cutting edge (unlike many Japanese knives) allows both right-handed and left-handed users to use it with complete peace of mind.
-The handle is made of maple wood: its unique grain gives it an unmistakable, sober cachet. It also features the traditional "D" shape for a comfortable grip, perfectly fitting your palm.
-The stainless steel tipcompletes the overall balance of the piece, adding a little extra weight to contrast with the blade.
-Finally, the design reflects the quality of Japanese knives. Sleek and sober, the combination of materials and colors makes it both classic and unique, bringing a fresh touch to your equipment!
