Global has been using its know-how for over 30 years to create knives dedicated to the professional kitchen, while retaining an important part of its work on knife design. Global knives are now recognized as a benchmark in international gastronomy! They are also frequently featured on cooking shows!
This bird's beak knife with curved blade is perfect for cutting fruit and vegetables to perfection and peeling them cleanly, without mess. The curved shape of its blade allows you to work with unique precision.
The steel used to manufacture the blade is CROMOVA 18, ensuring an undeniable, long-lasting cutting edge! Your cuts are unmistakably sharper and more even, for food with respected flesh and effortless use!
It features 3 layers of steel: a solid layer surrounded by a layer of mild steel on both sides. The result is the San Mai blade. It offers a hardness of between 56 and 58 HRC on the Rockwell scale.
What's more, this blade has a hammered finish, which, in addition to being elegantly aesthetic, allows you to take advantage of the micro-bubbles of air created by the hammering cavities for cleaner cuts.
As for the handle, it is designed to be ergonomic and pleasant to hold over time. Its shape adapts perfectly to all hands. What's more, it features 7 small dots running along its surface, corresponding to the 7 Samurai virtues: righteousness, courage, benevolence, respect, honesty, honor and loyalty.
Designed by Komin Yamada, the brand's own famous designer, these knives are the perfect combination of refinement, modernity, tradition and efficiency!
Come and equip yourself with the Japanese Global Sai range thanks to KnifeLeader!
