They have a stainless steel blade (alloy X30Cr13). Its Rockwell index is 54 HRC. It is considered "supple" (this does not mean that it is flexible, but rather that it is fairly soft), so it is very easy to maintain with a sharpening gun. This also makes it more resistant to shocks (as a "softer" blade will absorb them better, unlike a very rigid one).

In black synthetic material, the handles ensure an ideal grip, while the stainless steel rivets ensure that all the knives are well-balanced and held together. All in all, the knives are very light, reducing fatigue over time.

There are almost 32 compartments (of various sizes), arranged on 3 removable trays: its generous capacity means you can fit all your gear inside, so you don't have to carry several bags and briefcases, which isn't necessarily practical if you're taking public transport!

The bag's main compartments are accessible via zippers. On the left-hand side, you'll find a removable storage plate that can be clipped to the bag and contains 8 storage spaces (some are smaller than others, which is handy for small accessories like a bridle needle, for example). A flap with snap fasteners covers knife blades, or the upper part of your utensils, to protect them.

The maximum blade length you can insert (assuming the handle stops at the elastic band) is 27cm.

Right internal space :

The right-hand side of the bag features two removable plates, one of which can be attached directly to the backpack.

Both plates are identical, and feature elastic storage on the front of their surface. 12 elastic bands are arranged across its width (2x6, as one row of 6 faces another row of 6), allowing you to arrange either 6 large pieces (held at both ends), or 12 small pieces (each held in an elastic band).

The width of the rubber bands is approx. 4.5 cm, and the surface area of a plate is approx. 27 x 41.5 cm. This is where you store your utensils!

As all the plates in the bag are removable, they are easy to clean. Simply unclip them, empty them of their utensils, and wipe them down with a sponge to remove any marks.

Front of the bag:

You'll see a small top zippered pocket, which you can use to store your papers, driving license... for example.

Next, another front pocket can be accessed by unclipping a buckle. It opens via two side zippers and itself contains several storage spaces: a long zippered pocket, a space that can be closed with a Velcro fastener (to hold a smartphone or your glasses, for example) and a space for 3 pens.

Behind this storage space, two new accordion compartments are revealed, where you can put, for example: recipe books, technical data sheets, a small laptop, a tablet, a kitchen apron...

A further pocket is available behind these slots. You access it by opening a zipper. You can put in other recipe books, a spare tee shirt, files... Its large capacity means you'll be right at home!

Finally, its ergonomic shape (like a schoolboy's backpack) distributes the weight of your equipment evenly over both shoulders, leaving your arms and hands free. This way, you don't have the full weight of the container tilting you to one side (as would be the case with a briefcase, for example, which also takes up your hand).

It has 2 reinforced, adjustable shoulder straps, which are pleasant to wear. Finally, a small handle on the front lets you take it by hand if you want.
