Description

Sabatier has been making knives for over 100 years, making it a perfect representative of a renowned heritage, supported by elaborate manufacturing techniques and a tradition that has been passed down through generations of cutlers.

The 100% forgedBrocéliande series will appeal to the most demanding of cooks. 100% French, it takes you to the heart of the Thiers cutlery tradition, whether you're a passionate amateur or a professional chef.

This Sabatier Brocéliande 20cm carving knife, with its long, thin blade, will enable you to carve fine, beautiful slices from your whole pieces. For example, use it with whole hams, roasts, legs of lamb...

Its blade is made of N4116 Nitro+ stainless steel, which makes it sturdy and corrosion-resistant.

Reinforced with nitrogen, the alloy increases the blade's hardness for a longer-lasting, stiffer cutting edge, while further enhancing its resistance to oxidation. The blade of the Brocéliande knife is "forged", i.e. made from a solid piece of steel. This is an added value for the knife, which is all the more solid because there are no sticking points. In the end, the knife is also more balanced in the hand, more full-bodied.

The handle is also an asset, being made of beech wood, which adds warmth to the knife. It has good mechanical strength, and is pleasant in the hand. The handle is crossed by 3 stainless steel rivets, which ensure that the steel and wood parts are held together.

Each knife is unique, since the handle is cut from a different piece of wood for each model.

Care and maintenance :

The knife must be washed by hand. This more delicate care will enable you to preserve its original appearance over time. Once washed, dry quickly with a soft cloth and store away from moisture.
