A versatile damascened blade
The Hakami Tsubaki Bunka knifefeatures a 20-cm blade and a handle made of natural olive wood. Its bunka shape combines the qualities of a Japanese chef’s knife and a santoku, with an angled tip inspired by the kiritsuke. This shape allows you to slice, chop, and cut a variety of foods with precision.
The blade is crafted from 67-layer Damascus steel, recognizable by its smooth, regular wave-like patterns. This multi-layered construction provides the blade with excellent strength while creating an elegant finish. The smooth cutting edge is ideal for making clean cuts through vegetables, boneless meats, fish, and herbs.
At 20 cm, this kitchen knife is the perfect length for everyday food preparation. It allows you to work with ingredients of various sizes without losing control. Its Damascus finish gives it the appearance of a genuine Damascus steel knife, making it both functional and decorative.
A comfortable olive wood handle
The olive wood handle has an oval shape that naturally contours to the palm. This design ensures a comfortable grip during repeated cutting tasks. The natural grain makes each handle slightly different, with warm hues ranging from beige to golden brown.
Olive wood is prized for its dense appearance and texture that feels pleasant to the touch. It lends an authentic finish to this Damascus blade knife, while providing good stability during use. Its balanced silhouette allows you to guide the blade with precision, whether you’re pushing, pulling, or chopping.
The total length of 34 cm ensures a good balance between the blade and the handle. The oval profile suits different hand sizes and makes it easy to change your grip depending on the task at hand. This stainless steel knife is therefore a perfect addition to your everyday kitchen tools.
