Get sharp, easy-to-use blades with the Hakami 3000/8000 sharpening stone!
Two grits for a sharp blade
This whetstone features two complementary surfaces. The 3000-grit side is ideal for sharpening and restoring a slightly dull edge. It allows you to gradually correct the blade’s edge without removing too much material. Once this first step is complete, flip the stone over to use the 8000 grit. This finer side is used to smooth the cutting edge and achieve a polished finish.
The wooden base holds the stone securely in place on the countertop. This allows you to focus on your technique, rather than chasing the stone all over the kitchen! The sharpening guide helps you maintain a consistent angle, which is especially helpful when you’re just starting out with a knife sharpening stone.

Do not use oil if the stone is designed for wet sharpening.
