Arcos kitchen knives have been developed in Spain to suit both professional chefs and passionate amateurs. Why is that? Simply because they're high-performance, functional and intuitive, for pleasurable use every time.
The Arcos Natura series includes knives that are both high-performance and stylish, just like the rest of the brand's knives. They are crafted from quality materials, using century-old know-how. This series of knives is equipped with the main functions you need to vary your cuts.
This 16cmFileting knife features a flexible blade perfect for removing fillets cleanly from your finest fish. The blade fits under the flesh without damaging it.
Made from NITRUM®stainless steel, the blade is concentrated in nitrogen to increase its hardness (this is a special composition by the manufacturer). The alloy has a strength of 57 HRC, giving you a long-lasting sharp edge, while remaining easy to sharpen if necessary. It's a very good steel for everyday use, for example. Also, the knife is forged, i.e. it's made from a single bar of solid steel. It is then heated and pressed into its final shape. Because it comes from a single block, it is much stronger, with no welds to weaken it over time.
The handle is also an important element: it's made from rosewood, a dense, moisture-resistant exotic wood. Its warm nuances lend it great elegance. The handle is completed by 3 stainless steel rivets.
Last but not least, we can't fail to notice its pure, timeless style! The mix of materials also provides a nice contrast, giving it a touch of authenticity with the warm wood of rosewood.
Wash by hand, then dry immediately to avoid prolonged contact with moisture. That way, you'll take good care of it for the long term.
